Settlers, Exp, 0, 1.,0, 0a,1d, 2h,1f, 4,0, 5, nil, 000000000000000
Icon made by me of old someone's.
Just settler. Available for building to Byzantines and Latins only because
of "too many cities" problem; other civs, as not ment for playing, have only
about two of them.

Impr.Settlers,Env, 0, 2.,0, 0a,2d, 2h,1f, 4,0, 5, Exp, 000000000000010
Icon made by me of an old one; I know, the cow looks like my dog rather than
as a cow...

Conqueror, Sth, 0, 1.,1, 12a,5d, 4h,1f, 6,0, 0, AFl, 000000000010001

Siege Engine, Met, 0, 1.,0, 12a,4d, 2h,1f, 9,0, 0, Ato, 000000001000000
Icon made by me of old catapult and siege engine icons.
It is good in attack, but is useful in defending cities, too.

Icon by me, though a little part I've taken from somewhere else.
Just a hittle, seems hardly useful ship.
For Latins and Byzantines already obsolete.

Dromon, Mag, 2, 6.,0, 5a,2d, 2h,1f, 4,3, 4, Nav, 000000000000000

BYZANTINE
a)GROUND
Byz.Infantry, Ast, 0, 1.,0, 5a,4d, 2h,1f, 4,0, 1, X1, 000000000000000
Icon by Alex the Magnificent
Quite cheap, is thought for defending, but has some attack ability, too.
Playing Byzantines, you'll be able to build it from the start up to the time
you shall discover byzantine gunpowder tech, which will allow you to build...

Impr.Byz.Inf.,no, 0, 1.,0, 7a,4d, 2h,1f, 5,0, 1, Ast, 000000000000000
Icon made by me of some older icons, I think it was byz.inf (this for sure)
by A.t.M. (the one up) and microprose riffleman.

Byz.Cavalry, no, 0, 2.,0, 8a,3d, 3h,1f, 7,0, 1, X1, 000000000000000
Icon made by me of my old early byzantine/roman cavalry icon with colours
of A.t.M. icon of the same topic.
2-space unit, for attacking, of course.

Dragases, no, 0, 2.,0, 10a,5d, 4h,2f, 10,0, 0, no, 000000000000001
I made this icon on base of suspected Constantine Dragases' painting.
This unit will show up lately in the game, for attacking, but not so easy to
destroy, too.

Michael, no, 0, 2.,1, 12a,2d, 1h,2f, 6,0, 0, no, 000001001000000
Old icon, I just added imperial eagle on the shield.
you'll have it at the start of the game; it is nice in attack, but completely
hopeless in defence, and loosing it too early would have bad consequences for
you, so watch out for it.

Catalonians, no, 0, 2.,1, 13a,6d, 5h,1f, 8,0, 0, no, 000000000010001
Icon by J.Balsinde
Those mercenaries will show up at the start of XIV century and, as they're
good both in attack and defence, can be very usefull for you.

Long Walls, no, 0, 0.,0, 0a,7d, 5h,2f, 7,0, 1, no, 000000000000001
Icon the same as the one up.
These are stronger than normal fortifications; you'll see them protecting
suburbs of Constantinople.

Th.Walls, AFl, 0, 0.,0, 0a,7d, 5h,2f, 4,0, 1, AFl, 000000000000000
Icon the same as for most other fortifications.
Strong fortifications that will show up when you liberate Constantinople.

b)SEA
Byz.Galley, Iro, 2, 6.,0, 7a,3d, 2h,1f, 6,4, 2, X1, 100000000000001
Byz.Galley, Tac, 2, 6.,0, 7a,3d, 2h,1f, 12,4, 2, Iro, 000000000000000
Byz.Galley, Mag, 2, 6.,0, 7a,3d, 2h,1f, 7,4, 2, Tac, 000001000000010
Icon by A.t.M.
A bit worse than latin galleys; they shall become hard to built after some
time, but will get back to normal later.

Amadeus VI, no, 2, 5.,0, 12a,6d, 3h,1f, 5,0, 0, no, 000000000000001
Icon by me; the same as for latin galleys.
Powerfull sea unit, but a bit slow, which makes it's use more difficult.

Genuan Galley,no, 2, 7.,0, 7a,3d, 2h,1f, 5,4, 4, no, 110000000000001
Icon by me.
I think they were the same as latin. You'll receive them from time to time,
which will be important when building byzantine galleys will become unworth
effort; however, events shall take their bill for this gift.

LATIN
a)GROUND
Lat.Infantry, Chi, 0, 1.,0, 5a,4d, 2h,1f, 3,0, 1, Alp, 000000000000000
Icon by I-don't-remember-who, a bit modified.
Quite cheap, is thought for defending, but has some attack ability, too.
Playing Latins, you'll be able to build it from the start up to the time
you shall discover byzantine gunpowder tech, which will allow you to build...

3)JUST SOME USELESS STUFF, NO MATTER FOR THE GAME,
   YOU CAN IGNORE IT.
   (mam wielk potrzeb pisania, ach...)

It used to be my first scenario try ever; what you see is a very serious
remake. The idea of it wasn't quite clear from the start. In fact, it
used to be a scenario about Turkey when I started it. Notabene, it is
similar with my other scenario, Outremer, which started as a scenario
about Saladin. There, I just moved the action a few years forward
and reversed the playable side, as I didn't want to force players to
manage many egyptian cities; no, it wouldn't be playable
then. Here, in fact, the story was supposed to go that way; I begane
making a scenario about Byzantines in the second half of XIV century.
The main idea of this scenario was supposed to be defending
your little "empire" against strongers mights, especially Serbs,
on the continent, watching however, to not allow the Turks cross
Hellespont, trying also to assure yourself some help from Italy.
It would be similar, then, especially that both Empire and Outremer
have lost most of their strenght and territory in years between
start of the first and second version. However, there, to bring
western help aspect better, and to not involve unnecessarily
my poor byzantines in eastern matters, I decided to make it on
different map. Broken by a little failure, however, I resigned of
it and came back to the first version, though I guess I may come back
to the second one someday.
The immediate result was that this time, you must operate with many
cities; you shouldn't worry though, only with a skillfull strategy
you can expand or defend your empire.
Creating this scn wasn't easy at all. The first version of it was
obviously extremly low quality, and what was important, still, it
needed managing many too many cities, which brought up another very
sad problem; "too many cities" pop-up one.
The scenario lacked everything.
I played civI enough long to be bored of traditional game,
so I started making maps and got interested in scenarios
from the start. I didn't know any scenarios at the beginning,
and -ah- was I proud when I made microscopic changes in
units or rules! But later, when I got to know real scenarios,
my mood had changed and I had stopped doing anything for some
time. Outremer was the next thing I tried to do.
I think I can be satisfied by gameplay overall,
but what is the weakness, the terrible weakness of that scn,
is that it is completely unfinished. I wanted to make
it an impressing scenario, but at the end, I had enough of it
and left it as it was, though I realized at the time,
that things such as events, science stuff or even art,
meaning: almost everything, needs changing.
I'm especially ashamed of the events and here,
I've tried not to commit the same mistakes.
My events file was really impressing :)
It was a lot of complicated (in comparison to Outremer)
things, just what I wanted. having multiple events
changed the thing a bit. You see, they help a lot,
of course, but you have less ability to check their
quality, or executability. Also, having spent
all this time over my single file, I could be sure
that only the good ideas were left. With five scenario
files, I don't have that much time or ability to ensure that.
Moreover, I have learned to "compress" events, and I think
I'm doing it good. My event files are quite big, up to
21,5kB and at least in two first event files, every event detail
except for moneychanging sometimes, is vital to the scenario,
is necessary. Still, I'm sure there is some progress.

And for clearing things up:
first version of this scn came from 1998/9,
this version is the result of work from I/II 2000
to XI 2000

"It's Gonna Get better"

"Reach out, hands in the air, don't care, just what they are saying
Hold out, just keep on hoping against hope it's gonna get better.
Don't worry, there's no hurry for you, for me everything's gonna come around
Shout out, someone will listen to you, to me, someone's gonna see

He calls me over, calls me brother and I know
always fighting and moonlighting, it never ends
in the city, if you're all alone
there's a sister and she's standing next to her man
in the darkness you feel the sharpness of steel
and it's always there, in the city, if you're all alone

Reach out, hands in the air, don't care, just what they are saying
Hold out, just keep on hoping against hope it's gonna get better.
Don't worry, there's no hurry for you, for me everything's gonna come around
Shout out, someone will listen to you, to me, someone's gonna see

If it's gonna get better, it starts with a feeling
If it's gonna get better, it's gonna take time
If it's gonna get better, we've gotta start now
cos I know everybody can feel it
and I know everybody will see it
cos it shows, and that shows that I'm not dreaming
cos you know, I know, it's time for a change"

Banks/Collins/Rutherford

Nah, probably in your game it won't get better.
And me, I won't get any better in scenario-creation.
Because...
Czn you get better than THAT?????

"Fading lights"

"Another time it might have been so different
If only we could do it all again
but now it's just another fading memory
out of focus, though the outline still remains

Far away, away, fading distant lights
leaving us all behind, lost in a changing world
and you know that these are the days of our
lives remember

Like the story that we wish was never ending
We know we must reach the final
page
still we carry on just pretending
that there'll always be another day to go

Far away, away, fading distant lights
leaving us all behind, lost in a changing world
and you know these are the days of our
lives remember

Another chance hello, another goodbye
and so many things we'll never see again
days of live that seemed so unimportant
seem to matter and to count much later on

Far away, away, fading distant lights
leaving us all behind, lost in a changing world
and you know these are the days of our
lives remember"

P.S.
To Outremer reviewer:
God bless you!
